Epilogue
As the crowds fade away, the dust begins to settle over the jousting field, but Sara stays to see the horses being put away. She notices that something isn't quite right, the giant horse is still on the ground trying to get up, after one of the squires comes to assist, she hears the squire screaming for help.
Chapter 1 - Farewell to Sir Armidion
Sara was just trying to put things into perspective, after all, she'd been coming to Reddington Festival practically her whole life, not that she was that old. Only 23 and just trying to get a sense of the real world compared to the "Renaissance" life she was trying to lead. She pulled back her dark brown hair to a pony tail when she spotted Lady Armidion, Sir Armidion's wife.
The wife happened to be played by Sara's good friend Mary Miller. "Oh Sara, what am I going to do now?... I don't think Frank had any idea that he would ever be hurt..." her voice just trembled as the sentence just laid in the air as the EMT's took Frank's body in the ambulance. Sara watched as the police drove in with the sirens blazing in the background.
"Are the patrons all gone?" asked Sara as she watched nervously when the sirens got closer to the area with yellow tape and cameras.
"Yes, I think so," Mary nervously twisted her long blond hair, "Have you seen Brody?"
Brody MacIntire, the guy in charge of Reddington Festival for the last 8 years. He was just the giant behind those big doors that no one really ever saw, well, except that time when the eating contest began a little later than usual. If anyone did see him, you wouldn't recognize that he was the director, you'd think he was one of the Vikings.
Sara couldn't say if she had seen Brody as an officer approached them, "Can either one of you ladies tell me what happened here?"
"I was just watching the joust scene and it seemed normal to me" Sara said back to the officer who was writing everything down, "but then after wards, I noticed that the horse that Sir Armidion, er I mean Frank, was on fell to the ground."
"Can you tell me his real name?" the officer turned to Mary, who was trying very hard to hold back tears.
"Frank. Frank Miller. He was my ex husband, but we were together for so long, that we still played the part of husband and wife here." Mary then lost all control and started to sob loudly.
