Awkwardly outside the gates.

School isn't as bad as I'd thought it was going to be, although I miss sleeping in, and the grey, cottage cheese like day to day similarity is going to be a bit depressing in contrast to the vacation that just ended. Every class, with the exception of AP Environmental, has friends of mine in it. Drawing 1 looks like I could actually benefit from the class, even if the work eats me alive. The worst of it so far has been an evaluation still life composed of a milk crate stuffed with tennis rackets, with a few containers on the top. Most drawing / art classes seem like, when stripped to the core, just a place for the two or three students that can really own up to have an exhibition. Andrusiak knows what she's doing though, and more importantly, how to teach that effectively.
