1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?

- Admitted to someone in person that I am in love with him, followed by a breakdown in the bathtub. Yaiks!

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I an not really a big fan of NYRs.  But this year I made some.  Less grouchiness on Sundays, take better care of my health and save more money

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Two ladies from our department, Cookie and Rinah and Anne, the wife of Ome-licious

4. Did anyone close to you die?

My ex, Jomai. He was 27 years old, I think.  It was too late when they found out that he had a brain tumor.

5. What countries did you visit?

none.  blech.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

Peace of mind.

7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Christmas Eve.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Got promoted at work and staying with a company for a year and not feeling like moving to another one yet.  Made stronger bonds with new friends.

9. What was your biggest failure?

Love. Hah!

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Occassional colds.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
No memorable purchases this year.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Hmmm... Bam and Louis for showing so much concern when I was extremely hurt because of my own actions and decisions. Jeffy White for being a revelation and being a good friend.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Doctora

14. Where did most of your money go?
To the good life!!!!

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Finally getting my raise.  Friends gatherings and conversations at Club 802.

16. What songs will always remind you of 2007?
Defying Gravity by Idina Menzel, Ghosts by Dirty Vegas, Open Your Eyes by Snow Patrol and those songs being played over and over again every Saturday in 802. :P

17. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Have a life outside work and clubbing.  Enjoy the sunlight.  Go to the gym.

18. What do you wish you'd done less of?

Hmmm....

19. How did you spend Christmas?

Welcomed it with tears, alcohol, sad music and heartfelt conversations with Jeffy and Erwingard.

20. Did you fall in love in 2007?

Unfortunately, I did.

21. How many one-night stands?

Ulk!

22. What was(still) your favorite TV program?

So You Think You Can Dance.  ANTM and Project Runway (kabaklaan!).  Grey's Anatomy for crying sessions at 3am.

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nope.

24. What was the best book you read?

Most of the books that I've read are English grammar textbooks and I spent most of my spare reading time reading blogs (and Wikipedia).  Best blog so far is Coconuter's (http://coconuter.blogspot.com).  Unfortunately, he just did a very sad last post this week.

25. What was your greatest musical discovery this year?
2007 was the year that I totally learned more and appreciated electronic music. I found out that it can also make you cry.  Peter Rauhofer stands out after I heard Live at Roxy for the first time.

26. What did you want and got?

My job promotion... and booking. Hahaha!

27. What was your favorite film of this year?

Notes on a Scandal.  Superb plot and magnificent acting by Dame Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett.  Another one is Babel.  I still think it should've won the Oscar for Best Picture.

28. What did you do on your birthday?

It was Black Saturday so went to Greenbelt with Louis, Poma and Jeff then had lunch at Chili's.  After that we went to Greenhills to shop then to Metrowalk.  It was followed by piggery action at Bed.  My god, can't forget Bucktooth Jane.  Coffee!!!!!

29. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

If my blue-eyed American boy actually showed up.

30. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?

Nothing's changed.

31. What kept you sane?

Friends (in the same way that they drive me crazy, hehe).  Alone time and a lot of self reflection.

32. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

Tonya Harding, Nancy Kerrigan and Oksana Baiul.  Hahahaha!

33. What political issue stirred you the most?

The Makati Standoff by Trillanes.  Chaka.

34. Who did you miss?

Maysh

35. Who was the best new person you met?

Bam

36. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:

It's better to believe and experience pain than being numb and immune and ambivalent.  At least it gives you the validation that you are still human.
