a long awaited update
It has been quite a while since I updated this thing. This is just the highlights of stuff, I'll write more later.
I have finished my first year at UCSC. All things considered it went pretty well. I met some excellent people who have been very good friends and have supported me throughout the year. I re-entered the world of theater and remebered why I went there in the first place. To everyone at the UCSC theater department, you rock. However, I feel like things didn't quite go the way I had hoped. I had to go home a lot during the first two quarters, and as a result I feel like I missed out on a lot of college experiences. So, next quarter will be something of an attempt to have a real freshman year. I hope to meet many new wonderful people, as well as become closer to the ones I already know.
On the downside, the Babesia is in a full blown relapse. I started treatment for it last week and I feel awful. It makes me nauseous, panicky, and disorted upon waking up. It just makes me feel.....sick. Really ill. Which I suppose I am, but this is amplifying it. This treatment is planned to last for 6 months, and I may not see any results from it for as long as 2 months. It's really going to interfere with Summer.
I'm afraid I don't have the energy to write more, but who knows, perhaps soon you will all know more about the life of Robert Joseph Moyer. You know you want in.
