(no subject)
Apparently according to live journal i havent updated in 32 weeks! which is an unbelievably long time. but i'm hardly ever home these days and our internet connection is a big pile-o-shit so there. Now however i have no excuse because today i bought a mobile broadband connection for my laptop. Which is good because now i can use the internet when ever and where ever i please, but also means i now actually have bills to pay. look at me growing up and accepting responsibility!
Work was pretty good today. i absolutely rocked the Barista today, wasnt too busy and sarah was working so we got to have a good chat. I miss working with her, she was one of the first people from work i considered an actual friend. Probably wont see her till some time next year now.
I'm a little pissed off because it looks like they're going to make Mel the next superviser. If its the Mel i'm thinking of (because i'm pretty sure we've only got one) then its a load of crap because she only started like a month ago, she's younger than me and she's not trained in the kitchen. i however have been working there for almost a year, I'm experience in EVERY area of the cafe, and having worked K1in the kitchen i think i've proven i can both handle stressfull situations i have no problem telling people what to do, i have extremely flexible hours, I'm going on bean skills and starting a traineeship with them in the next month or 2 and could really use the extra money!!! honestly do i have to wear a huge sign saying SUPERVISER MATERIAL! and do a little dance for them? i thought that, me being his favourite person in the world, Paulo might put in a good word for me, but apparently not!
but appart from that i'm pretty happy at work. i've made some friends and i know i'm doing a good job.
oh my gosh Heroes is on soon and i have to do my tax return! i've only got 5 days left to do it, oopsies
