Yeah, I couldn't resist doing something quickly with all that pretty footage, so .... it's a little bit, umm, not my usual thing, but - we'll call it an experiment.

(Also, I'm tired having to introduce him as "the guy who wrote the Sarah McLaughlin song," so massive excitement to find another fan!)
This is a great vid, btw. Every time I watch it I feel like I catch something new. And--though I'm sure this wasn't your intent--I was mildly irritated by the stereotypical let's-play-Irish-music-while-people-fist-fight scenes in the field, and for me this vid feels a bit redemptive, because the music-film connection rests on something more substantial.

Hah! I didn't even know about that until recently - for me he's the guy who did the soundtrack to The Brothers McMullen, which I liked better than the movie, so I had to run out and buy a CD.
And I'm very pleased you liked the vid as well :-). I was aware of the stereotype Irish-music-for-boxing thing, but I confess I didn't specifically intend for this vid to be redemptive - I just liked the music for the this concept. But I'm glad you saw it that way!
