I feel like .... puke ...
I've been fighting a stomach bug since Thursday. Of course my daughter also had it and got over it quickly. My body loves to torture me. I'm glad she got over it so fast because she had a busy weekend with her dad. He picked them up Thursday night so they could go to their grandfather’s burial of his ashes in Bushnell. Then on Saturday they headed up to Ocala to see an uncle who luckily just came out of a coma. We were afraid he wasn't going to make it. One of the huge Thoroughbreds he manages kicked him in the head. It looks like he will be ok. Julz has had so many traumas in his family the past few years. I worry about him and my kids. Hopefully things will be better soon.
On Saturday Rich and I headed to Disney to watch my niece play on the Tomorrowland stage with her orchestra from Spartanburg. They did an awesome job. I barely got to talk to her after the show. She said she would be back later that afternoon to play in the park. We decided to go walk around AK and look at the animals until then. The heat was getting to me. By the time we got to AK I decided I needed a wheelchair. Rich was so sweet to push me around through the trails. Him doing that saved me about $30 renting the electric one. He was puffing and panting going up and down the bumpy paths pushing my fat ass through the crowds. What is it with that park being 20 degrees hotter than the rest of the WDW area?? We only spent a couple hours there and I was ready to leave. We decided to get something to eat outside Disney property and decide what to do about going back to MK. By the time we pulled into the Steak n Shake parking lot I opened the door and started puking. At first I thought there was no way I could go in, I would be completely humiliated. But my throat was burning and I needed to wash up. Rich was like... there are posters all on the windows. I bet no one even saw. We went in and I looked at the windows. Of course they were see thru from the inside. I just decided not to make any eye contact with anyone ... lol. Needless to say we decided not to go back and meet up with my niece. I would have loved nothing more than to spend time with her... but I just couldn't. There was also no way I could get back in the car right away so we wandered the Florida Mall a bit. I used to love that mall... but I don't know what has happened to it. I doubt I will make a trip back there any time soon. The only fun part was M&M World. What a fun store! Too bad I was too nauseous to really enjoy it. :p
Rich and I spent the day on my bed watching movies yesterday. Just a lazy day but it was great. This morning he called me on his drive to work.... he was puking in the parking lot of a convenience store ... he came home and went straight to bed. :p
