- Money has stabilized a bit, though still no luck on work for me. Just so hard because I have so few hours available where I don't have wee man
- Garden is coming along beautifully, everything has grown back in so much nicer now that it's had a year to establish. Trying a new method of gardening having bought a copy of Square Foot Gardening. Well see how the yield is. I am wicked delighted at baby corn stalks!
- Our lawn, however, is sad. Most of the back yard was killed by grubs eating the roots and you can roll it back like carpet. Luckily, my dad is the superintendent of a golf course and so lawns are his thing. So he brought us a spreader and some uber fertilizer with a grub killer (animal and people safe!) and will return with grass seed. Hopefully it will be in better shape for our first bbq!
- Have been making some money off my canning, specifically my Dilly Beans. They have a small following back on MV, who knew? Excited for strawberries to come in at the local farm, there will be jam mmmmm
- Work has been...weird? for Grum. It alternates with his bosses going OMG YOU'RE THE BEST AND SO FLEXIBLE WE LOVE YOU to firing people without explanation. It's not good for the nerves. So he's been exploring tech writing in his free time to have a back up plan. In the mean time, now they want to make him head of production...its a weird world.
- Planning my family's big Disney trip for the fall (my folks are taking us and my brother's family) we have our 5th wedding anniversary (really, that long already?) and we'll have been together ten years (wow) at the end of the year.
- Depression comes and goes, but is overall much better than the winter. Social anxiety flares up now and then, wherein I convince myself everyone secretly hates me. But now it's a lot easier to abandon such unhelpful lines of thought, and Grum has been super awesome about making sure I get time out of the house with people <3
- Having fun npcing Clockwork (may the glory of Rackistan live on forever!) and get to go to Madrigal this weekend because my sweet husband is staying with Jack since we have no sitter. Over the moon excited for Cottington too!
- Wee Man is amazing, his speech is quite clear now and he's a total ham like his dad. He's sweet and snuggly and such a total dirt-cookies-trucks kind of boy, and his favorite pony is Pinkie Pie.
- WE CONTINUE TO LOVE YOU ALL
And that's us in bullet points!
