Wow, so I have been soooo stressed in the sea of paperwork! All for a good cause though, because (fates willing) we'll be moving into our FIRST HOME in January!
We have signed the P&S for a house in East Bridgewater, a nice town a little farther south than we currently are. No worries NH darlins, what it adds in minutes (about 18 minutes or so) it will make up for by exluding that horrid 95/93/3 mess!
It has a lovely yard, with a fire pit and a shed with electricity and sits against conservation land at the back (it's very pretty) 1800sq feet, 3 bedroom, office, wood stove- it's just near perfect, and will be with a few years of work! So nice when you know someone for everything right?
If anyone has any free weekdays or is free the weekend after Christmas to lend a hand packing, the help would be MUCH appreciated. The closing date is January 21st, so the actual MOVE will be by the end of the month (need to paint and do a few small but important pre move projects) You know any help is massively appreciated, and we will happily feed/booze you in thanks!
It's a hard spot, as I'm sure many of you know, at this point in a home sale. We have to plan, pack and be ready to be out by the end of Jan. so we don't have to pay rent AND a morgatge, but there is always that chance things can fall apart. That's why I was hesitant to mention it. But life is short, if it does, it does, right? Gotta hang onto the good things!
Speaking of good things, our Christmas party was AWESOME! Thanks SO much to those who made it, and sorry to have missed tose who could not! There will be a house warming party in our future, as well as many sparbqs once my mum comes out to help us landscape! I AM SO FULL OF IDEAS YOU HAVE NO IDEA.
Sunday was full of family, and I can't help but think how blessed we are. I say it a lot I guess, but I am just always in awe, ESPECIALLY when things are bad, at how many amazing people we have in our lives. <3
Here is to surviving the holidays, and to a new, hopefully brilliant, new year!
