So now that the election is over, and the holidays loom oh-so gloriously ahead of us, it gets me thinking.

My greatest gratitude in my life is for the people I have the pleasure and blessing to share it with, my incredible family and my amazing friends. You guys have been here for us SO MUCH in the past few years, through job losses to the birth of

I'm constantly donating all year long to lots of charities (predominantly breast cancer) and buying stuff I really don't need from people supporting charities (pet shelters, girl scouts, schools).

I donate my time to don a reindeer outfit to delight young and old alike at the UI Fantasy of Lights to raise money for Easter Seals every year.

My company supports local poor families by donating food for Thanksgiving and gifts for Christmas and I donate for those.

So yeah, year round, constant reaching out to others.
