Tick, tock, tick-tock

I have way too many time keeping devices in my room. It does offer the perk of being able to never actually be late or early, depending on what clock you look at (the ultimate solution to the White Rabbit's stress problem). But it really does screw some things up: namely, the perception of time. I woke up this morning, checked one of the clocks and read it to be 6:53 AM. It was actually 1 something (I think), but I sort of ran out of bed before realizing this. Lesson learned: keep the clocks that you actually check around the right time.

I had a nice surprise today. It could be pleasant. It explained a whole awful lot. It seemed that I had this subsection of folders of music that I never touched/deleted/heard of. The total size of the files was about 2 GB, which does account for the abnormally huge size of my music. Which I have managed to actually move onto another drive. Go me. I just have to add it all back, again, from the other computer. Which means more flash runs.

I also discovered in the mail today, that in fact, I will not be alone in my residence of college. Now, I wouldn't be so amused by it except, I met my roommate on Orientation. He was possibly the only student that made any real effort to talk to me, and the only one who introduced himself to me. Which I just find extremely amusing given the chances of it all. Course, my impression of him was *passable* so I think I'll be able to live with him. I think. If I'm wrong, well, then. He'll manage. Or I will. Or both. We'll see. And to you stalkers, or most of you, you might be hearing more of it from me, cause I'm somewhat taciturn, still.
Of course, he could have happened upon this post via my facebook, but who cares? I certainly don't. At least to this dance, I know the tune, steps and partner.

On the list of random accomplishments, I did the first painting ever. And, by the dead gods, it turned out badly. Very badly. This is why I stick to doodling; colors never do the picture enough justice.

Oh, and this post is herein dedicated to Jessie. It's your birthday present, cause I don't feel like writing 'Happy birthday!' in a falsetto tone on your facebook wall.

I think I'm forgetting something really important. I don't know what, though.
EDIT: This isn't what I forgot, but something else I forgot. If that makes sense.
Banewreaker. Eh, ja. I sort of dropped the book from my currently reading list due to way, way too many similarities to LoTR and bad memories of WoT

book log, happy birthday
