Being home has a quality of making me inordinately lazy distracted and all that whatnot. Or whatever have you. Moving on.
Also, another (belated) happy birthday

So, Thanksgiving Break as well.
Overall, break was relatively uneventful and very unproductive. I did very little for the most part; I wrote a little here and there and doodled a bad doodle of Claire. And I got to see some people I have not seen in a while and I got my life planned out for me; I apparently get to marry a girl named Claire and die 63 years after meeting her.
Overall, break was just way too short. And some people were missing.
I got to visit my sister for Thanksgiving in the very very cold and windy Chicago. City of wind, huh. Overall, it was kind of boring since a lot of the things were closed, so we ended up wandering around a lot in the cold and having a relatively awkward dinner. I sat around and watched more episodes of Bones, for the most part.
- It is really cold up there. Did I say that already? I even got to see snow.
- The trip lead me to conclude that I am either a) incredibly stupid, b) have a vastly horrible sense of direction and coordination (this means you can blame me for all of those times we get lost, Ellen) c) Chicago's train system is vastly confusing d) A and B. Basically, I got lost on the train trying to get to my sister and ended up spending close to three hours on the trains. Going in opposite directions, each time. I went from one end of Chicago to the other, basically.
- Chicago is a overall kind of depressing, bleak and industrial city. There are some pretty parts (ie. my sister's campus) but a lot of what I saw was just very bleak.
- I got stopped at airport security twice, for completely different reasons. The first was cause I left my GPS in my bag, and they thought it was some bomb controller (or something). It wasted about 20 minutes. The second was cause of my toothpaste, which curiously, the first airport did not protest.
In other news, my poor computer, between the space of yesterday evening and today afternoon has become infected with a virus. A horribly, horribly irritating virus that is giving me a headache trying to get rid of.
I have a total crush on Claire now. I have no idea what that indicates, since I wrote and invented Claire to start with (and she is completely fictional) and I know how it all ends horribly and what not.
I want a Claire.
I'll make an actual post, soon. And maybe try tackling organizing all of the things.
Lyrics of the day; Time Lapse Lifeline by Maria Taylor.
Still we stand with the help of a steady hand
Capture images of boy and man
Till it's done
And 7 years combined is just the flicker of a neon sign
Little negative of hopes refined
Till they're done, oh they're done
