On the downside, the Twilight satire has been suspended until I manage to find more time in my day that I'm willing to dedicate to redoing that book. Which I find to be strangely scarce whenever I do bother to go looking, which is rare enough. I found myself almost tempted to read the second book in the series, Eclipse or New Moon or the like, just to see Eddie squirm a bit. On the further downside, I should be studying for my exam but I find myself far too distracted by this book.
On the positive side, I finished American Gods (finally) and dug up some old issues of the Sandman to reread. The whole combination of older mythology and new fiction is a refreshing read. I also got my hands on Stardust, which has thus proven to be not quire much like the movie, and fairly entertaining; I like Gaiman's writing style. It also compelled me enough to dig up the copy of Prose Eldera or the poem that describes most of Ragnorok from the freezer; it’s interesting to see how many fantasy books draw directly from the whole sect of Norse mythology.
Now to try and be productive. Time to get the engine of the world up and moving again.
