george zinkhan was a marketing professor here. he was a really prestigious man, he went to harvard... seemingly normal guy. downtown (like within walking distance of all our dorms) he went to a theatre event. his wife is the head of the theatre there. we dont know exactly why or if it was planned, but he shot a young man (who's wife is an english professor here) then went inside, shot his wife, and shot a 65 year old man after that who tried to help her. he fleed, taking his children, and dropped them off at a friend's house before the news got out. we don't know where he is now... but he has a house in amsterdam and the police found out he bought a plane ticket there. tho they don't know when the ticket is purchased.. so we dont know if this was planned. :O
the school did a shitty ass job, because we didnt know any of this till TODAYS PAPER. they emailed us twice. didnt cancel school, or really do anything to let people know. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
