Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day and Mardi Gras. How awesome is this week?
Tried to go see Avatar with polgaramalfoy yesterday, but by the time we were done screwing around at the bookstore and Best Buy, it was kind of late. Since I've been bitching about seeing it again for a couple weeks now - three times is not enough, people - my sweetie decided to slow down and push me out of the car drop me off at the movie theater today while he and the boy went furniture and grocery shopping. The pre-show stuff included a bit about Clash of the Titans (yay!), they showed the grooviest Clash of the Titans trailer (YAY!) and the movie, as usual, was awesome. The place was packed, and people applauded at the end, which I wasn't expecting, considering how long it's been out. (Not to worry, polgaramalfoy, I will totally go again. Drop a hat and see what happens.)
It was nice and warm out when I went into the theater. When I came out, apparently I used the wrong door because I ended up in effing Siberia. Holy shitballs.
My other Valentine's Day presents include a gigantic chocolate-covered strawberry and the best pair of plaid flannel jammie pants ever bought for 5 bucks. Yes, some day I might learn to shop in the women's department. Today is not that day.
