I'm putting a bear trap on the front porch.
I understand that people who deliver packages are probably in a hurry all the time. I get it. I do. But. Someone just delivered a package here and before I could get to the door - I could not have physically gotten down the stairs faster without throwing myself down them - the delivery lady had already stuffed a little card in the door and was almost to the end of our extremely long driveway. Hell of a sprinter, this one.
This wasn't Fedex, who drop the boxes on the doorstep and then ring & run. This was "I'm taking your stuff with me and you'll have to get it later". You'd think that just waiting a damn second for someone to get to the door - no way she didn't hear me yelling at the dog - would be less trouble than coming back again. Unless I'd have to go pick it up, in which case I'm sure she didn't give a shit.
Fortunately I caught her before she could get in her car and lay down 30 yards of rubber getting out of here and got my package. It's a package full of awesome and I was super happy to see it. Little pissed at the fact that I was so aggravated when I got it, though. Way to bollocks up my joy, lady.
