Here's more evidence of the complete lack of cranial function my State and the DOT are demonstrating now when it comes to renewing your driver's license:
As early as this summer, anyone here that wants to renew their license won't be getting it on the spot anymore. You'll get a paper certificate and will wait for your license to come to you in the mail.
Their sole reasoning is that it lessens the security risk by having them printed in a central location.
Cause it's totally not a security risk sending them in the mail for any asshole to get their hands on.
I can't even get my mail at my house anymore because of dumb fuckers who thought it was funny to sort through our mail and steal our identity and now the government wants to make it even easier. Yeah, they sure know what's best for us, don't they?
