I had another fall today.
no, I haven't had a stroke!
stupid, but totally explainable [like the other 3 I've had in the past year or so]

I fell onto my foot, and twisted it.
the foot that has been sore for quite a while [read a couple of months] to the extent of keeping me awake

apparently, when I fell, I did some do-it-yourself chiropractic...

I have to admit, I didn't think 'stroke', I thought, 'wine'!

Glad you're okay, if a little sore.

Quite belated, but have you ever considered yourself to be a superhero? I do. Bear with me on this, I have a point.

If a normal person gets hit by a car, they have to go to a hospital with many broken bones. If we get hit by a car, we spontaneously dislocate every bone in our bodies, swear a lot, shake out all the joints and walk around the car to tell the driver exactly what kind of arsehole they are.

I always feel a bit like a mutant when I relocate joints, but at least it has its benefits. I mean, do you know anyone else who could be walking around on a serious injury and not be sobbing like a little baby? You are the aussie version of Wolverine :D

This is kind of from personal experience btw. I got hit by a dickhead driver when his car slid over an icy patch of road. It didn't knock out every joint but it was still a bit ouchy. I don't think he will ever make that mistake again... that said, the experience of the angry gimp threatening his car might have impeded his ability to ever drive again.

"Australian version of Wolverine"
Hugh Jackman is Ausralian. hmmmmm litters..

you flatter me too much. my daughter is the one that pops herself back in 'better', but then she subluxes more easily. I've learned a totally different style of driving because of her 'special relationships' with seatbelts.

"the experience of the angry gimp threatening his car might have impeded his ability to ever drive again"

oh,I sincerely hope so!
