the only kills I have known the other cat to make were field mice. 2 consecutive days, both in his food bowl. [the second one was headless. ick!]

lol - I've had the ferals leave me presents on my front doorstep. Here is is usually lizards of a different kind. Thankfully, if they manage to snag a bird, they find some other place to deposit it...usually in their stomachs. Hope the surgery thing went well...nothing too serious I hope...

this cat is a hunter, being part feral. there's a reason she's an indoor cat. the photo doesn't show the harness and running chain she's on.
the other one couldn't be bothered. his bird-catching technique resembles Garfield's!

it's just that my Beloved is certainly NOT an animal person, when it comes to having them in the house.
