Let x = the amount of money poor welfare recipients suck out of the system for drugs & laziness. Let y = the amount of money wealthy taxpayers suck out of the system through dodgy but legal returns and "business-related investments & expenses".
Can you see where I'm going with this? I know I'm using the horribly flawed argument that one problem is irrelevant if you can find a bigger one, but hey, it's always in style. Besides, if you piss tested an unemployed stoner any doctor worth their salt would be more worried about the signs of malnutrition they would most likely find. Those unemployed druggos may not work for their lifestyle, but they sure do pay for it..
... And besides, with the environment about to collapse under the weight of our economy, we might have to remodel our society around high unemployment, and what better way to achieve that than to let the laziest fraction of us sit around? The original writer works in a mine? We need 50 unemployed stoners for every miner just to offset the emissions such an environmentally expensive industry creates! I salute those brave bludgers, for their tireless effort to keep our carbon footprint down! :P
