Happy St. Patrick's Day! As someone of partial Irish heritage...well, I guess today has no emotional significance for me whatsoever. Spring Break has been okay, though. Better than I expected, considering I've been in Ames, doing little except working, watching DVDs, reading and sleeping. Highlights include a 6-hour long Risk game (2nd place!!!) and some carbonated beverage-related hijinks.

Dinosaur and McCullough: The Legend Begins is, for most intents and purposes, finished, and I think we're all fairly pleased with it. If the occasional lewdness and shots of alcohol don't prevent it from being in the film festival, we're in good shape.

Anyone read any Thomas Pynchon? He's what I suppose you'd call a contemporary of Vonnegut, albeit with a more convoluted style. I'm about halfway through a novel of his, The Crying of Lot 49, which I'm enjoying somewhat; reads like a David Lynch movie. Kind of a satirical, surreal mystery. Worth checking out if you're into that sort of thing.

One of the greatest websites I've ever seen: www.fuh2.com

The Gentlemen's Breakfast Club Contest of Champions is fast approaching. With this in mind, could anyone supply, or tell me where I could get:
* Sacks for a 3-legged sack race
* Bricks
* Backpacks
* Chess boards
* Rubber/soccer balls
* Candy
* Cereal
* Blindfolds/bandanas
