Midtrip Update

Sep 20, 2008 01:02

Okay, we disembarked from the ship this morning. Spent most of the afternoon visiting a cousin who lives in Kent. Also visited the Space Needle and had a breve at 520'. I'm rather disappointed at the weather. Though I do realize that this is typical weather and that the clear blue day I got a week ago is rare in Seattle, but I still wish it could have lasted a little longer, especially for tomorrow because I'm visiting Mt. Rainier National Park on our drive down to Portland. Besides, blue clear weather makes for much better pictures than gray cloudy weather.

Once in Portland, grandma and I will be spending Sunday and Monday visiting as much as possible (more cousins, and some attractions as well) before we fly back home Tuesday afternoon.

When I have time to sit and ponder a lot of thoughts start running through my head. It's hard sometimes to get them down into words. All I know is that this trip is definitely reaffirming something that I've wanted in my life for a long time now.

More later. . .
