I Have Arrived!!!
I am here in NYC (well actually Staten Island, but it's one of the boroughs damnit!) I am staying at the Navy Lodge on Fort Wadsworth, which is part of the Gateway National Recreation Area. Mom and I are about to venture out to Staten Island proper to see what we can see and get some dinner. We will be heading into Manhattan tomorrow (which is my birthday!!!!) to visit the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, and then to wander around the financial district and midtown. Tomorrow night will hopefully be meeting jjirish79 for dinner.
