SOoo this morning i wasnt in the greatest of moods...but that always changes at work when all the jets crank up. Then everything else leaves my mind except for what needs to get done out on that flightline. And for that I really love it. A small smirk also developes on my face every morning when the jets are taking off. In the morning, I like to call them portlands "alarm clock" :)
So my GI bill just got processed, and now about 60% of my flight training will be paid for...which will equal about $26,000 in total. Time to hop back in the cockpit full time, and crank out that instrument/commercial.
Another plus is that I befriended this really cool dude at my guard base of which is only 26, and he as well is working on his instrument/commercial. So we've come up with some plans to fly together to build some instrument hours without have'n to drain our pockets from flight instructors :). He also has a bunch of connections between him and some pilots at our base, which is pretty nice. If theres one thing you ever need to know about the aviation industry...Networking is the key.
