Edit (Feb 20, 2007): I have flocked this journal but have no, NOT AT ALL, problems with adding new friends. I'm slow when it comes to updates but I have lots of fun when doing it and sharing with my flist. Just leave a comment if you want to party...sometimes. :D ( Read more... )

Oh, I'm so happy you joined up! This way we'll be able to keep in touch and squee over the next project by our favorite actor!

Speaking of which, I'm still trying to find out when The Unseen will play at PAFF. I'm getting ready to just phone them. There are some African films I would like to see too. But it's really hard for me to get time off work. I need lead time!

Oh BTW Odie, I know coastrguy is on LJ...I'm still trying to figure this place out. I'll add everybody, that's for sure. I hope they can accept my invitation.

Hi there Odie hon. I couldn't be away from you guys. Actually, you are part of my entertainment and political conscience now. Good to know that you are close by. That's why you know Brazilian people. They are all over LA.

I can't wait to see The Unseen too. The whole list looks interesting actually. I'm gonna try to check the site all the time too. But you are better informed than me so, as soon as you know anything let us know. *winks*

Yes, the Brasileiros have invaded this city! Lucky for me they brought their music with them! Unfortunately, they tend to love their country so much, that many of my friends have gone back home after a few years here.

I just sent an e-mail to PAFF asking for showtimes on Cafundo, Delwende, Scent of Oak (Roble de Olor) and The Unseen. If I don't hear back, I'm going to phone their main office. I need to know this week in order to ask for time off at work.

Hey, you know if you use the little search button in the top right corner of your screen that will take you to coastrguy or qafdiscussion or whatever. You can friend somebody first. You don't have to wait for somebody to friend you. If you want, you can just go down somebody's whole friends list and start friending away!

I think you need to friend qafdiscussion before renshaw can send you an invite. Usually it's not so exclusive on LJ, but he wants to keep the riff-raff (guess who!) out.

Good to know that you like our music Odie. Not being cocky (yeah right...LOL), but it's one of the best in the world. My brother is a musician and he lives here. He brought with him his passion for Brazilian music too...And no, I love my country but I love this country here the same way. I have no intention of going back. I'm trying my best to stay...Well, I'll go back just to visit that's for sure. I still have my family there. But here is home now, and I hope for a long time.

Thanks for the tips. I was actually doing that. Going through everybody else's list...*grins*.
