Yes, second journal entry of the night (rare!)
After just typing up the entry below, I went to check my email and as I posted Sunday...
I just finished up the 2nd chapter of a book I did some writing in. An Oklahoma Chapter and a Tennessee Chapter. This will be my very first time being officially published and she sent me the edited and print ready drafts of the two chapters I wrote and I almost cried!!!!
Its kind of overwhelming for me with this. I have always written things, but never to actually get published!
I am not making any money from these chapters and I dont really care about that. Its just a huge sense of personal achievment I guess. I have had good things happen, but when it comes down to writing and being recognized as a writer it just feels pretty damn good. Yeah, I am all teared up, not out of being sad or anything, just a good feeling and I think Im in shock.
