without trying to start a race riot, i will just say this. i agree totally that it was shitty that their (Native Americans) land was taken and they were forced to move. however, you & i have both been to the reservation and have seen the way it is trashed - the white people didn't do that. there are homes there that are free and the whole place looks like one big landfill and there are leftover spray paint cans from huffers in the abandoned and vandalized buildings. i don't understand that one bit. they treat the land they consider so sacred like a dump and their houses the same. and the ghetto is the same way. and there are white people that do it, too. people CHOOSE to be that way. no one makes someone be trashy. you can be poor and still be clean. one of the biggest reasons canada has a low crime rate is the fact that their news does not dwell on all the awful things like ours does. they have maybe one murder a year in the whole country and it's usally an american that crossed the border and did it. it's because they treat people right there and no one feels the need to go blwoing other people up. i would totally live in canada.
