I just received an email with the subject line:

OK, I am sure it is not actually my film score hero that was seeking me out personally, probably a publicist's minion search for folks who mention him in their myspace profiles and send friend requests to everyone, but still, what a thing to receive in one's inbox, especially on a day when nothing else is going right and my body is particularly annoyed and rebellious. . .
