(no subject)
Well I finally got a new computer, for $15 no less. And with that I got a bunch of music apps to go with it. The learning curve for the programs aren't that bad, but it does take some getting used to. Cubase 5, Pro Tools Lite and Native Instruments Guitar Rig to name just a few. Fruity Loops 8 right now is the one I'm learning so where I can make sample and import them into the music I'm doing for Caller Of Black (I wonder how many people will get the reference in that one). But It's NI Guitar Rig is the one I really can't wait to mess with considering this will allow me to take my guitar straight in and will also let me set the effects and parameters better than I have been able to.
The one problem with the new computer is that I'm not online yet with it, so I haven't been able to get my email for the past couple of days.
And another fun thing is that I think I cracked a tooth and right now I'm in a decent amount of pain that radiates all along the right side of my face. It's affecting my sinuses more than anything else. My nose feels like I snorted Dr. Pepper (if you don't know what Dr. Pepper feels like up your nose be grateful) and my ear feels like I have that damn creature from the second Star Trek movie crawling around in there. So I've been on a pretty good amount of Advil, mortin, and tylenol (not all at the same time)and the only thing that does is dull the pain slightly. Thankfully I was able to get 4 hours of sleep last night which does help. I'm hoping for at least 6 hours tonight. The real bitch of this is, is that I can't get into the dentist till Thursday and for the pain the receptionist said for the extreme pain take advil. Gee, what do think I've been doing!
