title: another sad love song

note: angsty, broken!jaesu.

Jaejoong is cigarette cologne and jumbled fractions. Junsu is lines, rushing blood, and skin mapped over bones. They are two pieces of a puzzle that don’t greet, but yet inside the dark of a bedroom where blackness allows them to blend into rivers, Jaejoong’s palms nurse Junsu’s hips as if his body was designed to.

Junsu arches shamelessly off of the bed, his nails biting and pulling half-moons along Jaejoong’s shoulder blades, and Jaejoong watches all this through heavy lidded eyes, drinking it in like a dehydrated desert. He can feel Junsu’s fingertips sliding down his back and over the piano keys of his spine, begging him for more and Jaejoong obeys (because he never wants to give him anything less)

And after it’s over, when they’re both lying on the bed and Junsu is falling fast asleep by his side, Jaejoong reaches over and trips his fingers along Junsu’s skin where the lights of Tokyo meet. He knows that in the morning, it’ll become another dry routine. They’ll both pretend like this never happened, Junsu will still not be in love with him, and that Jaejoong's acid heartache will become just another sad love song he'll write away. After all, they are the music couple and that's what they'll always be.
