[002] (VIDEO) In the Rain
[ The webcam records empty space in the living area, at first, before the screen jiggles a little with approaching footsteps. Sakura has been out in the rain, and is wearing what once was probably even recognizeable as a raincoat. The most this seems to have done is prevent her from being waterlogged, along with whatever was giving her the outward appearance of having a humped back.
This soon resolves itself when she extricates herself from the 'raincoat,' the makeshift satchel slung across her back being made obvious. She sets this down next to the short table in the room, pushing back her hair as something small slips out of her clothing and hits the floor. She doesn't notice it at first, but when she does, she pauses and picks it up.
Whatever it is makes her think pretty heavily, if the look on her face means anything. ]
The rain's been falling harder over the last few days.
[ She shakes her head and finally seems to notice she's being recorded. She's grim for a moment, then offers a tired smile. ]
Mika, if you're up, how are you feeling? I'll be stopping by again soon.
[ Then addressed more generally to the camera; ]
I heard someone mention something about games of hide and seek. Is that about the little girl outside? I tried following her, but she stayed out of reach. She did lead me by where water's pooling on the roof. I hope the ceiling is strong enough to hold that much weight. If the rain doesn't let up soon, it might be a problem.
