Hello. My name is Mr Old and I am going to fill up your entire friends page with pictures. My bawls. Lick them.
A history of my birthday
Thursday 19th March.
I woke up at 6:30am had a shower and all that stuff and went off to work. I didn't open any presents as Alice does not get up till much later and I wanted to wait. So I trundle zombie-like to the bus stop and what do I see. This is what I see:
For awhile I look at it wondering if it is actually for me. Of course it is. It has a pig on it and Alice's initials. It turns out that Alice woke up at 4am in the morning to put this up for me. She is awesome. Not only that but I don't go to the closest bus stop - I always walk to the second one. How does Alice know this? Because she listens to me. A surprise like that put me in such a good mood and of course it's at moments like that you realise what a wonderful person your girlfriend is.
So work was alright as it always is. We had a buffet and it was nommy. They know I like food that is bad for me!
I got back at 4ish and found lots of cards and the like through the letterbox. When Alice got back at 6 I opened my presents and cards. My mum and brother were coming up on Sat so the only presents I had to open were those from Alice. As some of you probably already know Alice got me a Korg Kaoss pad. It looks like this:
Isn't it pretty? Well I suppose you have no idea what it does so to show you I have taken the wonderful 25 Cats Named Sam track Mongoose Kookaburra and played with it.
Click here to hear a short section of it. Now doesn't that sound better? Hahah. Well you get the idea. I love it. And I think I have to thank Guy for helping Alice come to a decision. Just you wait to hear what I do with the thing next!
Another surprise was my teddybear (edit: okay, my MONSTER) came back from his mission. A few days ago he went missing and I wondered where he had gone. He had not been cleaned since I won him at the Hoppings when I was very small. He is a freaky looking thing called Grair and I love him. He had got messy though so he went on his travels and came back a new bear. LOOK!
Now he is bright fucking orange again! I think Alice has a funny story to tell you about Grair's Travels but I'll let her tell it when she wants.
Alice also cooked me a special meal and got me profiteroles for dessert. MmmmmmMMmmMMmMm NOM NOM NOMMY NOM! i ate themz.
Also in the post was Eva's present to me. Which was this:
I totally am saving this to colour in properly. It is one of my fave books! Although I am tempted to colour him in phallus colours so see if I can make it look like a big nob shagging everything. The very hungry penis. Sorry Eva!
Saturday 21st March
I spent a large chunk of Saturday running around trying to find leather pants for my costume. I failed so instead went for some pretty cool combat pants in River Island. They were £40 however when I took them to the till and she scanned them they came up £15. This was a mistake but she had to sell them to me for that price. I win.
The rest of Saturday was spent sorting myself out and shaving my beard into a thoroughly camp moustache. Facebook is where the photos of me live. I need to upload the rest of mine and all of Alice's. It will take ages so be patient for them!
I have to admit not remembering much from this party. I created a 5.5 hour playlist which ran along nicely but I drank so much good stuff I was dead by the end. I remember a baileys, a sex on the beach, grolschs, goldschlager, aftershock, smirnoff ice and a whisky. Man, I threw up a rainbow afterwards. Being dressed as Bennett from Commando in a gay bar was probably a dumb idea; however, I was the sex nonetheless. By far the most embarrassing thing was spilling and smashing Martin's drink twice and also inviting everyone back and then promptly throwing up, smashing more stuff and then falling asleep after putting Red Sonja on for the guests.
What I mostly remember from my party is the cake that the stupendously awesome Misti made. See:
NOM NOM NOM. I am too scared to cut into it though. It just looks so yummy!
The wonderful Charly (*edit* - and NOT Mr Bob) also got me this heavenly cake. It is so funny how many people know I love munching cake and sweets. Yay!
I am munching some of it right now! (The badge in that picture is from Martin. Cha-mone! hee-heeee!)
Sunday 22nd March
I woke up at 8am not feeling so good. Staggered around for a bit and then went back to bed. Woke up at 10:30 then showered and went to meet Martin, Wilson and Banks at Lloyds Bar for breakfast. We celebrated Decayed Goody's passing and ate pigs that reminded us of her. Then we moved onto The Newsroom which I think is my favourite bar in Edinburgh. During the day when it is not filled with nobs anyway. Later my mum and brother and came around and we went out for foods.
My brother got me Resident Evil 5 (oh yas), a crazy Crayola drawing thing, Romancing the Stone/Jewel of the Nile dvd and Fallout 1 & 2. He is so ace. He also wrote me one of the most beautiful cards I have ever received. He gave me far too high praise and it made me cry. Thank you Gray.
My parents got me The Wire series 5 and (because I asked for them) suit covers. Now I have a couple of suits I need covers so they don't get all skanky when I hang them in the closet. This is where I realise I am OLD.
Finally on the Sunday Guy came round with a present from Februus and the wags (Guy, Bex, Callum, Lauren, Mark & Misti) When we did the photo shoot for Februus at Guy's work I saw this piece and fell in love with it. I was very tempted to buy it but never got around to it. It was such a surprise that they all clubbed together and got me it. It is a proper good piece of art that I love!
and it has boobies. Yay!
So that's about it. Thank you all for your messages and love to you all!
