maternity stay
Slept poorly, woke up at 3:30 or so for no reason. Just anticipation of this long busy day I guess. Finally got back to sleep but was too tired to get up with the first "power morning" alarm, woke up with the regular one and did manage to get everything done and get Jude to the bus in time.
All this to say I don't remember much, and have forgotten even some of that. But what I do remember is being at work with a bunch of dream-generated people. Many of them seemed my age or younger. We sat in a conference room around one big table.
"I'm pregnant," I said. "Nobody knows except the people in this room." This may or may not have been 100% true, because in an earlier scene I had told someone else (also at work). But it was at least loosely true.
(This could have something to do with our department, the breeding capital of Health Borg. One Jill just got back from leave this week. Another Jill, I discovered yesterday that I think she's pregnant. Two or three more Jills have come back recently. Then, apart from work, there's McQueen and my sister.)
