I've been wavering on this story. I really like that you made Gibbs the carrier as it's something not often seen. I do think Tony was a little too harsh in the beginning, even with the surrounding situation, but it does stand to be in character when you think about it. Tony is, by nature, very protective of himself from hurt. He has always put so much faith in Gibbs that a situation like what you outlined would have to feel like a betrayal. The argument and subsequent hospitalization was a good way to make him see sense and see what he was about to loose. Also in a role-play written fic, the angst and dramatization often comes off over the top, but y'all are doing a great job balancing it out. I'm glad to see the team took it so well and am looking forward to the next part. I also like how in characters Gibbs is being about the whole "I love you" thing. It would have to be hard for him to repeat it when he has got to be remembering Shannon and Kelly constantly with having a baby and being in a serious relationship about to start a family. Good job and keep it up!
