[The PCD clicks on and the first thing you hear is a crash , then a scream  as a female ghost looking somewhere between the ages of  ten and twelve   crashes through the window and lands on the floor. ]

Ow...

That was stupid. Why did I forget to make myself intangible?

[She gets up and dusts herself off, then notices the PCD on the floor. ]

Oh, it's a standard ghost power. Invisibility and intangibility are the first ghost powers I learned, and ironically the ones I'm most likely to forget when I need them.

Blood? Huh, Where I'm from I think ectoplasm is our blood, and the base of many attacks.

Bloody Baron? Huh that sounds a lot more impressive than Technus, Master of Long Winded Speeches.

Though being made of smoke would make it it harder for fighting.

Spells? Is that like magic?

Oh. ouch that's heavy.

Oh well Technus is enthusiastic but he shouts his plans to you halfway into the fight. and he uses out of date slang [a slight shudder] I mean it's enough to make you cringe.

They don't? [She looks surprised] Ours do. Well they make trouble or have evil plans and me and my cousin have to stop them. Our town has a pretty big damage budget from all the ghost fights.

That's awesome. How does it work?

Ohh. He drones on and on? Sounds like my cousin's teacher.

Poltergeists? I think I read about that somewhere.

Oh Neat. So it's like a genetic thing?

she knows more about science then a twelve year old should ghostprankster December 23 2010, 21:56:02 UTC
Oh, well maybe magic is a recessive gene. Which may explain how someone with magic parents can lack magic ability. Also for the opposite if the gene is there somewhere there's a 25% chance of getting it.

Re: XD And Harry knows... magic not science! ghostprankster December 24 2010, 02:54:46 UTC
[*shrug*]

That works.

Magic sounds pretty cool. There's only so much you can do with floating and ectoplasm.
