K-Kairi. D-don't go out in the lake. Please. I-it's dangerous! There's a monster that lives in the bottom of the lake and it...i-it killed a friend of mine already. So please be careful if you go anywhere near there!

[Chloe doesn't take long to meet up with her. She hadn't explored much of this area at all, and her interest is piqued. She's looking around as she comes into sight, and when she spots Kairi she grins and waves.]
[Giving a sheepish grin, Chloe ducks her head a little bit.]
Am I that obvious?
[A light laugh--though Chloe seems distracted and her gaze travels a bit in the general direction of the forest. Maybe by simply being outside at all she was taking a risk--and now Kairi was out here with her. No. Derek and Alex would be fine. Derek wouldn't let Alex hurt anyone, and Chloe wanted to spend time with Kairi. She also didn't want either of them to be alone.]
I--I'm worried. About Derek. He's--h-he's doing something dangerous tonight and--and I don't want to stay up all night waiting to hear from him. I'd much rather be doing something productive, you know?

Well, those rooms aren't really made for two, but you can stay over if you like.
