[A deep, stuttered inhale of breath can be heard first and foremost. Someone gathering their nerves and posting something she really does not want to face, but can understand.]
Commander Shepard--Kevas--Talia...
[A pause.]
Th-this is Chloe. I'm sending this for Derek. He--he asked me to.
[Another painful pause.]
Derek is a werewolf. He is not a harm to anyone or anything, though. When he changes, he is still aware of friends and loved ones.
[Another pause, smaller this time.]
I know we're springing this on you guys. Derek says he doesn't care if you hate him for not telling you--or for being what he is--which is dumb because I assure you this changes nothing. He's still him. [She clears her throat, realizing she was getting emotional. A deep breath.] He's sick. H-he's worried he might get infected. Derek won't be able to live with himself if he harms anyone. H-he worries about everyone else's safety over his own.
H-he just wants to w-warn you that i-if he goes violent... h-he will probably turn into a wolf.
[There's another pause, as if more should be added, but Chloe can't bring herself to do it. The audio clicks off.]
