Tabletop Role-playing, before computers and consoles. They created these games, one could play with friends. You get them together, around a table, make characters and pretend to be those characters and have adventures with those characters. The granddaddy of such games is Dungeons and Dragons, albeit its not really a lot in common with what I do,

Our game was about teen-agers in their last year of high school, who discovered a secret lair of old superheroes who'd vanished, and decided to use the artifacts (gadgets, costumes, magic formula) to become new superheroes to try and offset the drift they know is coming as their senior year progresses and they drift to college and work afterwards.

I was the "GM" meaning the one who set up the game, run the rules, and play the bad guys/act out the unimportant parts. My friends pretended to be the teens.

We ended up with teen-ager heroes who 1) Has a spirit sensai who is linked to a chain weapon (manriki gusari?), and may be tied to a demon who had lived in a suit of samurai armor. 2) Discovered the Horn of Roland, he thinks, which allows him to some a mystic suit of mail (armor), and a pegasus to ride--he's chosen the name "Cavalier/Chevalier" (not sure the anglicised or french one yet.) 3) Injected himself with some form of retroviral RNA/DNA solutions--he thinks (the truth is that both were just baseline solutions, his powers are his.)
