I've been having the same sort of headaches. I'm more nervous about this coming semester than I was about last semester. Plus, I've had a sinus cold/broncitis for over a month now.

I feel like I'm gonna die.

In good news, I started volunteering at the Historical Archives in Monroe County. Sweet job. I just wish they paid, oh anything!

Dude, I saw Megan in the hallway yesterday and she said some things about not liking historic preservation that much because it mostly focuses on old houses instead of more varied aspects material culture!

What do you do at the Historical Archives? I should volunteer somewhere but I'm so lazy. =(

Yeah, she's having a hard time with some of the concepts. But I'm ignoring the party line and getting a lot out of it, even if I dont' agree with everything I hear. My "American Cultural Landscapes" class is very interesting and like an anthro seminar. I have a feeling I'm gonna love it.

Right now at the archives I am going through boxes of uncataloged land deeds that have been sitting in the basement since the mid 50's. I'm in charge of taking all the deeds from each township and archiving the pertanent information to identify each deed. She (the archivist) just gave me the boxes and said "go for it!" And she lets me make my own hours. I adore her. And she loves having me there. It's been great so far.
