A Personal Request & Some Pics
I know I still have to write up a con report for the latter half of the weekend, but I haven't had a chance yet. I will soon as I do!
Before I move on to the pics, I have a very special personal request. Last year I partook in the AIDS Walk Los Angeles, and I had a very successful fundraising campaign. My goal was $500, yet I turned in nearly $700 on the day of the walk, all thanks to the lovely people who sponsored me. This year, despite getting a bit of a later start, I still hope to fundraise as much as possible. Like last year, in order to accomplish my goal, I need your help.
Having had a family member struggle with AIDS, and consequently perish because of the disease, HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and treatment are very important issues to me. This is my third year walking, and like all previous years, I am doing so in his honor. Will you please take a moment to sponsor me for the AIDS Walk and help me in my efforts to fight against HIV/AIDS? All proceeds from AIDS Walk benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles and other local HIV/AIDS organizations that help victims and their families cope with the disease.

Alternatively, I will be auctioning off a few items (namely Whedonverse items), via eBay. I don't have as much as last year, but I hope it helps in my fundraising efforts. When the items are up, I'll let you know.
