Or what we had of the day, anyway.
oanimation and I arrived past 6pm, after a grueling near 4 hour car ride from L.A. We had a bit of time to walk around the exhibitor's hall to check out some of the dealers before the screening Angela wanted to attend started. I totally sympathized with her kid in a candy store thing. While I'm not big into collecting, I totally get the temptation. Especially when staring at a 2-feet tall near-perfect likeness of Spike. Seriously. The Sideshow Premium Spike figure is just absolutely incredible! At $250, it's not exactly something I can afford, but it looks like it's totally worth its price. I didn't take my camera in today, but I will definitely be tomorrow. After I donate a pint of my red stuff, and soon as I know for sure I won't pass out, I'll be heading to the exhibitor's hall and snapping some pics. It's just way too cool to not get a few! Oooh! Also, the Spike puppet looks a lot more adorable in person than it does in pics I saw online. It's still looks something like Angel with a bad hair dye job, but it's still rather cute. Blue eyes and spaced-eyebrow for a scar and all.
Now I'm sitting in
_sharvie_'s sister's living room. Too full and way too wide awake to get some sleep. So far, it's been a blast, and it's only beginning! Tomorrow we'll head out early to the convention center, and hopefully meet up with
spikes_cj soon as she and her brother get into town. It should be a pretty packed day!
