oh the holidays
I feel like as I get older I grow more distant from the entire "holiday" internal buzz. I don't feel that rush to go out and buy people things or decorate. The best holiday thing I got was a big hug and promised time from friends.
One of my joys of driving home on Thursday night is getting to listen to "Kids' Corner". Last night they played this song, and though I am FAR from belief of most religions I felt this song spoke to me. Let it play, give it a chance. The episode was nicely done with alternative holiday songs.
Sushi and Lego Star Wars tonight.
