My back isn't back to normal. It's still achy. I look forward to being adjusted tomorrow.
I was going to pick up the audio of the new HP (for the long drive up and down the river and backroads). I noticed it was EIGHTY BUCKS.
Then I started contemplating about all the kids who can't afford the HP madness. I wondered if JK Rowling, with her bundles of INSANE cash, donates to any of those schools/kids whose families can't afford to pick up the series....
So I don't have cable. However when I'm at the rents' house I do call up some shows I miss thanks to On Demand. I was watching the news and I gotta say- if there's one thing I don't miss, it's commercials. Though I have been cheating and watching movies (netflix & library) I don't miss the loud commercials of TV. We'll see if I become more of a watcher or less once cable returns in the fall.
watching now: Star Trek: Search for Spock. Ah....how did I ever forget how much I love these characters and this series. Its campy costumes,meaningful script and imaginative languages and oh...the cheap props. It's George Lucas on a budget CGI. Love ya Gene.
