-- yeah, in my head, they are like. The most awesome geek couple ever. Cid's often out doing his airship antics, but I figure he writes retarded letters home and gets fabulous responses in return. When they are both together, they talk shop and work on something together before they get anywhere near the whole consummation bit. ... which isn't to say there isn't plenty of that. Just that it's surrounded by their work and love for technology. :|d Cid bitches at her a lot, but it's the usual Cid bluster. And she knows it.

This is a broad question, but do you have any headcanon for Jaina? Alternately, how about Izumi and her husband?

Jaina is actually one of the characters that has less headcanon because as you know YJK is one of the Star Wars series that is less about WAR and more about character interaction. So for the most part...nothing in camp has really made me go "this is not covered in canon." We have canon tentacle monsters, we know that whenever they meet a really weird creature Jaina's going "JACEN CANNOT ADOPT THIS," etc. XD Umm if I try thinking about what might be headcanon, I know that if it came up how Jaina first met Zekk or Tenel Ka there'd be some. But it never comes up as they are not in camp. Unless there's like something specific you ask about. XD

THIS IS MORE MY STYLE since I am just making headcanon lists instead of doing this meme. |D I am curious about how your headcanon for Ginko dealing with the mushi that is technically part of him. Affected him. However you want to phrase it!

... lol that mushi. UH obviously canon is unclear. Buuut. Considering how the anime likes to preface most episodes with a Sui monologue, and how Ginko seems to have access to the knowledge being outlined in said monologues (even if he doesn't quote them directly), I'm assuming that Sui's work somehow made it out into the mushi-shi community, even if just as a dusty scroll in the back of Tanyuu's library. As a result, I also assume that Ginko has read her notes about the mushi that's affected him. He doesn't have the necessary memories to identify it as the mushi that's affecting him, but I imagine the account resonated on a subconscious level, if nothing else. So he's aware of the mushi that's affected him, and what it does, but he doesn't strictly know that it's the reason for his unusual coloration

HAHAHAHA WELL. I think the Medicine Seller and Yuuko are old business associates -- certainly nowhere near as close as she was with Clow, but still friendly enough that they'd have tea now and then, and do each other favors. I imagine every couple of years or so, he wanders past her shop and comes in to catch up; it's full of a lot of eloquent silences and gestures, which anyone eavesdropping wouldn't understand at all, but they get perfectly.

I imagine he is also one of the few friends she has who knew Clow personally, even if it was only very politely and distantly.

As for Sharon and Equus, I imagine that it is very -- not quite typical, but you know those medieval images of the maiden with the unicorn resting its head in her lap? Yeah. I MIGHT BE READING TOO MUCH IN THE SYMBOLISM but I have always pinged that the apparently sweet and innocent young lady has a black hell unicorn as her chain. |D

... lol MS and Clow. This also makes me think that like. Watanuki might have witnessed one of these conversations, sort of. In that he walked by or brought snacks, but didn't understand a word of whatever the hell they were talking about. Yuuko-san has such weird guests :((( ... also, now I want PH to have a color image of something like that for Sharon. 8)

Awareness ... hmmm. I think, in the back of his mind, Ginko knows that he's kind of screwed. I think he would have known that anyway, since he knows his condition has to be due to a mushi, and he knows that sort of symbiosis rarely stays symbiotic for long. He's not presumptuous enough to think that he's one of the exceptions. ... and he's read the account of the tokoyami. In his heart of hearts, he suspects, and keeps his eye peeled just in case any more symptoms show up, but he doesn't think about it consciously. It's counter-productive.

How craft-y is Ishida? Can he quilt?

Canon only shows him sewing, technically, but I'd say that Ishida is at least basically capable of most sewing and knitting type crafts. Embroidery, crochet, applique, etc. I think he's capable of quilting just fine, but he doesn't do it often. Making a quilt is expensive if you aren't just using scraps, and I don't think he has enough scraps on hand to make one often. But he could. Maybe that'll be a winter project for him here in camp.

Now I have the best mental picture of Ishida going to all those craft fairs and getting adopted by all the people there, and him going :| at it. IT'S AMAZING.

... oh Kurogane and milk. Fay and I had a similar conversation! We decided that little!Kuro actually wasn't allergic to milk or anything. He just never got it, since ancient Japanese food tends not to have it. Especially not in Suwa, which is far far away from Hokkaido and its nice open cow fields. So he grew up never having it except on rare occasions, and along the way developed some sort of lactose intolerance. ... I'd say he didn't know anything about it, except he totally tried to avoid the milk during that omake. SO. I'll bet Tomoyo-hime fed him milk one day on a special occasion and it made him terribly sick. Embarrassed him in front of all the other ninjas. :| ... and then she made fun of him. dammit princess. ;;

... what's a typical day like for Mokona at camp? What does the meatbun do when we're not around. :| do you plot EVIL?

I WILL THINK OF QUESTIONS THEN

A typical day for Mokona consists of Mokona finding random people, animals, and things to play with. She usually finds random kitties running around! And so she'll play with those, or she'll go find Mieu and Lambo and play with them. When it's time to eat, she'll make her way either back to the Cat's Eye, or follow someone to the Mess Hall, or sometimes even head for Yuuko's shop. It really depends on who and what she runs into and all that.

But almost definitely, Mokona can be found at the lake at some point during the day, playing with Marcy and learning how to be an awesome tentacle monster. 8)

What is Watanuki's favorite meal to cook?

ahaha, THAT'S A TOUGH ONE. Watanuki obviously doesn't eat, so it's not like he has a favorite meal in terms of like ... something he cooks for himself. ... so really, his favorite meals to cook are the ones he can give to Yuuko-san and Doumeki. Especially Doumeki. Because Watanuki was SO SAD in the latest chapter when Doumeki wouldn't eat the potato rolls that had been made under Watanuki's teaching. If that makes him sad, then Doumeki actually rejecting any of the food he makes would make him incredibly emo, I think. o watanuki. KIND OF GAY there. ... so yeah. The short answer: whatever Doumeki likes best. ... Yuuko-san and Himawari-chan are also up there and certainly important, but I'd say he relies on Doumeki's opinion of his food the most.

What is a typical Ishida day in camp?

Ishida gets up eaaaarly in the morning. He functions best when it's early, so it's a good time to head outside and get some things done. He does a morning round of camp, checking to see if anything big and evil has gone down lately. After that it's breakfast time. He brings back bread and tomatoes from breakfast to feed his duckling army. As for the day itself, it depends on what's going on. I imagine he goes around and talks to people, and that he at least looks in on his important people once a day, in varying degrees of stalker-ness. (Ari, Al, Ash, Gojyo, etc.: this means an actual physical visit, if they're not busy. Ryuuken and Rikuou+ ... this is usually just reiraku-stalking, though he does occasionally pop in to talk to them too.) If he's not busy, he'll work on one of his many arts and crafts projects. Maybe study. He's been doing a lot more studying recently. In the evening, he does one more round around camp, takes a shower, and goes to bed. o

Ari...l..lolz. He goes there after breakfast, gets everything ready for the day and...then flops into a hammock he has behind the main counter. >.> He'll fall asleep real easily but wakes up whenever anyone enters unless he's totally wiped. He also spends some time stocking shelves, ordering stuff, tidying things. ...he has a kitten that looks like Al did when he use to become a cat. And spends time SECRETLY CUDDLING IT at work.

He will leave for lunch though not always. But he tries to get in some good hours cuz he never knows when a smoker needs a smoke or an alcoholic needs alcohol. And those he recognizes as his money makers.

Tell me what Kurogane would do at Simon and Nia's wedding.
