Christmas with the whole extended family here was exhausting and insane. I was impressed by the book-finding skills they seem to have acquired though. My parents managed to get a copy of Hello America by J. G. Ballard. When I asked for it I never expected anybody it actually find it.

I'm a bit behind the times now aren't I? It's already the 6th of January and here I am prattling on about Christmas. Happy new year.

Resolutions? None. I thought about this for a little while and came to the conclusion that I'm always trying to improve/change the same set of things. Stop procrastinating, find time+motivation to write, stop procrastinating, eat better, stop procrastinating, wake up earlier, stop procrastinating, work harder and stop procrastinating.

So I figure it's a futile gesture to think that I can switch all this on at some arbitrary calendar date. Instead it's slow-going business as usual as I continue downloading music from the original Sonic The Hedgehog games for the rest of the day.
