were you wondering where I've been? basically my life for the past three weeks has been a cycle of work, gym, watch buffy. I'm not complaining because it's actually been awesome. work is steadily getting busier and I'm really happy. the gym is exhausting but in the best possible way. staying in shape is hard work, must be why I didn't do it for so long. but I go six days a week and I'm enjoying it and I love how I feel after, and I love looking forward to that part of my day. last night I ran into this dude doug (just typed 'dough') who went to high school with skylar. he was outside waiting for a ride and I was heading in, and I totally looked at him for a second and was like 'doug??' not even thinking how awkward it might feel if it WASN'T him haha. but it was, so we chatted for a minute. and I'm up to buffy season 3, disc 2, so things are getting pretty juiceful. I'm really glad I stuck it out through season 1.
you've gotta be wondering why I'm up so early on a wednesday. I woke up in a panic around 7:45 because my phone aka alarm shut itself off in the middle of the night! I don't even know how because I had two bars when I went to bed? I need to make my way to t-mobes and switch over my service but I'm really nervous that I'm going to get stuck with a million fees or owe verizon my first born pug or something.
I'm going to nyc this weekend and I'm really looking forward to it. nnamdi is coming to visit next weekend so basically I'm a busy bee for the rest of the month. but I think it's good to be busy, because lately I've been feeling a touch old and hermity.

that's from the st. louis art museum. the lower level is all furniture and I asked one of the guards if people ever sat in chairs or broke stuff and she said yes! she said someone took a picture of them sitting in some old ass chair and then emailed the picture to the director of the museum! the brass ones! anyway I found a bunch of old pictures (that one is from november). I was used to uploading pics from my camera by just putting the memory card into my laptop, but that stopped working. so basically I had like 300 pictures that I needed to upload but I had to find my camera cord first. I have so many to send to nnamdi, it's ridic.
