At home today
So I get better and my absence of teeth are doing fine as far as healing goes, but then today my throat feels like hell and I'm spitting up blood.
Why? I work with Children, so I may be sick... I also have bad allergies and sinus problems, so it could be that. Oh well, that's why I'm home today. I plan to not talk at all and drink a lot of hot tea and soup. Get better fast, Vivian! I don't need to miss any more work. I needs the moneh.
I'm starting a book club, and so far everything is going well for that. I'm excited about it. Having a club has always been something I've wanted. So this will be awesome! Hopefully everyone else will enjoy it too.
I went kite-flying the other day with Graeme and Travis (Luna came too) . The wind was inconsistant, but that didn't matter. I still had a lot of fun. My kite is a dragon and he was 10 dollars, but well worth it.
Graeme took me dress shopping this week/weekend. More than once. We went to Target, where all the dresses were cute on the hanger but crappy on my body. Then we went to K&G where all the dresses looked like shit. After that we ended up buying a sexy white dress with pink butterflies on it at Goodwill. 6 bucks. Awesome! It is totally hot on me.
Graeme will have to move for school...and that means I'll be moving too. It'll be a year or so. Peter , Jessica, and Travis will have to spend some weekends with us, and we with them. (Well, with Jess, I'll have to go spend weekends with her until she can get a car to come visit me too)
Peter and I have been playing Castlevania 4 on VC for Wii, trying to beat it. Gummi worms help power us up. He's really a cool guy and rated up there with Jessica on the friend scale. (Which is 10 out of 10 [10 being the high/best]) He's been going to the YMCA to work out during the week. His job even pays for it. Crazy!
This weekend Jessica came over along with Peter, Brett, Matt, Travis, and Justin. The guys hung around and played poker. We had us some hot dogs and gummi worms. Jess wanted to go the mall, and I wanted to take her, but my stupid anxiety got in the way, so we just hung out and played video-games. I just freak out at malls. Too many people and pointless stores with no or little money to spend. I need to learn to cope better with large crowds.
Jess has this guy who's very taken with her. He's cute, but she's not wanting a serious relationship anytime soon. She doesn't want to hurt him, but it looks like he'll be hurt anyhow from his own emotions. She just wants to date around and focus on her own life for a while. Which is good for her, since the crazy ex Corey deal.
After Jess went home with Brett, I walked to where the guys were all playing army dodge-ball and threw some boiled eggs at them. Travis was spared the fate of the rod since it was dark and he was off to the left of the crowd.
Roccio at work was inspired by me and is now going to school. Shawn was inspired and is now making his own lunch for the week on Sunday instead of eating out every day. Bonnie was inspired and is cleaning out her closets to donate. Man, I should work as a motivational speaker or something. I think I'm just nice enough where people don't take my advice as being pretentious, and if you've talked to me for 5 minutes you find out that I'm not a very intimidating person.
I'm trying to decide what to do with my life. While I'm now teaching, I don't think it's right for me. Yes, I'm good at it, but you know what? I'm good at every job I've had. I try my best in all I do, so staying with something just because I'm good would be a bad choice.
