(no subject)
well i look to be the last man standing, so what the hell.
1 - i am for the first time in my life unemployed, and it is kind of odd really.
2 - i own a total of 12 swords, which some say is excessive, personally i'd like to be able to arm both shiva and kali should the need arise, hence it is the perfect number.
3 - i have spent today reading dante's infereno whilst drinking irn-bru (finally found it!)
4 - i have just logged onto MSN for the first time in 5 years yesterdady because i no real friends and needed digital ones instead.
5 - my first pet was a terrapin, i owned a total of 5 over the years... my cat used to try to eat the damned things, so when the last died we decided NOT to get any more.
6 - i miss graeme's terrapin now, and also my own cat, first time being in this house since she died a few years back!
7 - i was in a riot the other day, but managed to get out of the front of the crowd pretty damned fast!
8 - i am torn between Marillion or VNV Nation as to which is my favourite, but they both suit different moods, so they apply equally to me.
9 - i have broken 2 bones in my life, both as a result of sword fighting.
10 - my favourite 2 movies are called wings of desire and far away, so close. one being the sequel to the other... they are oddly enough about angels and their perceptions of mankind and mortality.
11 - katherine kerr has written one of my favourite stories, though hher later books let her down, i am now bound to finish... 2 books, one out soon, the other??? it has been 11 years so far!
12 - i fell as a kid smashed a glass bottle into my face and slashed my hand open with a chefs knife... never knew until i asked about the scars at about age 10 or 11.
13 - i MISS battered, deep fried sausages, although my body is much happier to be without.
14 - my main LJ portrait was given to me by sheridyn, she thought it fitting, not knowing it was on the cover of one of my favourite books as a kid.
15 - EGBERT IS COOL!!! - end of discussion, thank you!
16 - since quitting the central i have been happy, relaxed and slept properly for the first time in years... odd that!?
17 - deep blue and NOT black is one of my favourite colours, also forest green.
18 - i am currently wearing socks (personal joke)
19 - i have a fetish for anything to do with oriental style dragons... nothing kinky though!
