La Poste... encore!

I used to wonder whether the clerks at the post office were possibly idiots or not.

Now I am positive they are.

I went to the post office to ship a parcel - to the US this time.

Lady: "Yes?"

Me: "Good evening. Ahem, I would like to send this parcel to the US - by tracked post."

Lady: "You need to fill in the form." *hands a form*

Me: "I already have." *hands the form*

Lady: "To the US, uh? Here it says the EU. Why?"

Me: "..."

Me: "That's...that's the sender's country. My address."

Lady: "So where does it read 'US'?"

Me: "Down there in the form... near 'receiver'?"

Lady: "Uhm! ...To the US, uh?"

Me: *frowning* "Yes!"

*sigh*

I used to believe all idiots here became politicians, but I see that many of them have actually found an employment in the postal service...
