I'm going to a party-
Valerie finished tucking her hair into the hat her mother let her borrow, as part of the uniform. She now looked like she had a shaved head, and saluted herself in the mirror.
"So, where's this party bein' held anyway, baby?" Maryanne asked, Valerie looked up at her nonchalantly (the worst thing that could happen is her mom finding out she was going to a party that ghosts would be attending.).
"It's just a party outside town, no biggie, a bunch of kids from school'll be there," she said, waving her mother off.
Maryanne rose an eyebrow, "just remember to practice safe sex." If Valerie had been drinking she would have done a spit take.
"WHAT? Mom there is no why I wou-" she was cut off by a knock as she stormed off to go get it.
